The Client

In their four decades of operation, real estate developers and investors Scarborough Group have led a number of prominent developments in the north of England, including the recently opened 350,000 square foot retail and leisure complex in Leeds’ Thorpe Park business centre, The Springs.

The Challenge

With The Springs opening on 13 October 2018, Scarborough Group needed to raise awareness and place themselves front of mind among locals and entice them to visit. JPIMedia curated a multi-channel approach, including print, display, webpage takeover, Facebook Live and two pieces of sponsored content, which all proved very effective.

The Result

Digital ads for the grand opening were seen 354,312 times in 7 days on news websites across Yorkshire, with a click-through rate almost 3 times higher than the online average.

The campaign added to the local buzz around the complex, and from 7am on opening day, the queues for The Springs stretched all the way down the street.
