The Client

Familia Tattoo is a private tattoo studio who work by appointment only. The studio’s two artists pride themselves on their creative passion, perfecting their craft by continuously practicing and learning.

Established in 2014 with the aim of providing a more personal and enjoyable experience for clients, Familia hold consultations with their clients before designing bespoke tattoos.

The Challenge

Familia’s greatest challenge is maintaining their positive reputation within the local community, driving repeat business from happy customers and attracting new clients drawn in by the quality of their artwork.

Their advertising techniques previously revolved around the use of social media to promote their business and website, but this time round, Familia were looking for new, innovative online techniques. The team at JPIMedia suggested a sponsored content campaign to raise local awareness of the business. The result was a bespoke article looking at the studio’s work, their history and their own take on people’s changing attitudes towards tattooing.

The article was displayed on the Yorkshire Evening Post website, where it was viewed over 500 times. A number of people took action after reading it, contacting Familia to arrange consultations with them in the new year.
